tubelines click to view The placement will offer students the opportunity to take part in the refurbishment of Piccadilly Line stock, helping to strip carriages, replace cables and wheels as well as general maintenance work on the carriages.

The student will be involved in a lot of physical work, removing parts and cleaning.

There may be the possibility of working in the office, assisting the team with fault finding and checking on trains in the depot.

Activities will also include assisting in the stores department, issuing parts and seeing all the new equipment coming into the store.

Much of the work will be similar to an apprenticeship programme
