  • Purpose:
  • Learning to cook with a real chef in an industrial-standard kitchen.

  • Content:
  • Food preparation and cooking - simple tasks involved in the main cookery process - and/or serving food & drink. The tasks will vary.

    Students will learn how to use basic kitchen equipment.

    On completion of the course, students should be able to cook for their families.

    Students will also be shown how they can progress in the catering trade through other courses organised by the College.
