Work Experience and Learning
- a guide to work tasks for students

Work experience should be a learning experience for the student. Learning Frameworks were developed which contain suggestions of work tasks that students might do in different types of placements and what they could learn by doing those tasks.

They also include assignments for students to help them research and learn about the business where they are working.

They are useful for:

Teachers - to use in preparing students for their work experience

Students - to help them know what they might expect to do in their placement and to help them do research about the business.

Employers - to help them see what kind of tasks they can give to students and how those tasks can help students develop key skills.
